Amigurumi Pig and Spring

Well, it seems that spring is here at last. I am telling you this, because last weekend on Eastern we had some snow here. It was quite interesting. My husband said that it is time to decorate Christmas tree with eggs. Well, interesting idea. Maybe, worth trying. But it will have to wait till next year.
And today I come to you with another one amigurumi. This time it is a small and tiny pig. Maybe I should call it a piglet because it is very small. Its height is about 3 cm and it's about 5 cm long.

I found the pattern for little lucky pig in LucyRavenscar blog. The pattern is great. Ears and legs are made during the crochet. There is special stitch applied for crocheting them. Maybe my piggy is a little bit different but it is very nice. I used pink worsted cotton yarn for this piglet. I buy my yarns at local market, and the brand I use hardly can be found on the internet. But you always can try some acrylic yarns. Red Heart acrylic yarn can be a great solution for crocheting this piglet.

And now I will talk a little bit about spring. Again! This is the picture I draw myself while dreaming. I love spring. I hope you love it too.
