Hello again. This is another finally finished project I would like to share with you. Have I mentioned, that I have a big problem with unfinished projects. Few weeks ago my husband told me that he will not allow more unfinished projects in the house. I completely agree with him, so this year I will start finishing all my VIP's. Last weekend I revised all VIP's and it is hard to believe, that there are so many unfinished works. I hope, that I am not alone with this problem. I know that this problem is common among those who love cross stitching.
This pincushion is made using quite simple blackwork pattern. Actually, in this case it's redwork :) The blackwork is made on count 28 evenweave fabric, using nice dark red DMC thread. As you can see, the stitches are quite messy, but I am improving. As I have mentioned before, the problem with my hobby is that I like to try as many different techniques as I can, so I do not handle any technique as professionally as I would like. But I am improving. Oh my, I have already said that.
Here are some more photos of this pincushion. Enjoy!
